Teaching

Our perspectives shape everything: From how we see ourselves to how we understand the world. We constantly process a stream of facts, ideas, and opinions. This is why I place critical thinking, and the exercise of questioning, at the heart of my teaching. I guide students to examine the hidden biases that shape their own reactions and arguments, while helping them to engage with different perspectives with rigor and nuance. Learning to question one’s own knowledge, appreciate taking time to ruminate, and welcome uncomfortable perspectives will prepare students to navigate a world inundated with competing truths and echo chambers.
